SA Nursery - Mustaaqeem 28/10
Betting's not out yet for this race so I don't know his price. Absolutely thumped his field on his debut. Full brother to Rafeef and seems way speedier than him. Looks a smart sort this and he should push the two likely favourites in Barrack Street and Wonderwall very close. Couldn't have been more impressed with his debut. Very excited to see how he goes.

Race 1 very poor MR95 and all of 7 runners.
Race 2 without Tarry yard u have a 3 horse field. other trainer must be feeling stupid.
Race 3 Grade 3 with avg merit rating of below 80. Seriously.
Race 4 Nice race.
Race 5 Good field Rubbish stake cheque for the fillies.
Race 6 Better than the derby field
Race 7 shortage of horses in Gauteng i guess
Race 8 Love the sprinters. all our top jocks go head to head.
Race 9 Tarry has 3 the other 149 trainers managed 6 horses
Race 10 not the strongest field
Race 11 why not throw in a MR 72 in between all the graded races.
Race 12 the three year olds look to have it.

Nice to see Hollywood and LM Bookmakers opening up early on the full card.
Some nice value to be had between the two. Really like Unagi in the first and the 16/10 with LM looks great value compared to the 11/10 with Hollywood. Take some 16/10 to give you some money for the rest of the day. Best bet on the card for me.

Not saying it can't win, but although he has had 4 wins over the 1600, he has had 7 runs at this track and has yet to finish in the first 3 ....

He has but his last two efforts were in Grade 1's at level weights and he wasn't that far off them.

Unagi also only faded late last time over 1800m off a fast pace. He will prefer the 1600m.
