Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2008

Just wondering if anybody else also received this email.

In accordance to the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2008, all clients have to provide a copy of their ID and latest utility bill. You are kindly requested to submit the above mentioned documents by email to webmaster@betxchange.co.za. In terms of the above act failure to comply will result in no other option but to suspend your account. The above mentioned documentation must be submitted to our offices by no later than the 15th July 2008.

Only old news to you cat - when i go to the tote they give me a form for a disability Grant

If it were me I would close the account. Have had similar telling me it is a legal requirement but reality is that it is an internal requirement for the provider to know who the client is, and becomes irritating when you receive the same request every year.
