well Barry i hope you win the july is i backed you but i cant understand a clever man like yourself allowing Shes on fire to win the jubilee and getting a 1 kg penalty .
surely yo would have licked to enter the durban july off as low a weight as possible.
Just when all the other july runners used the Jubille as exercise gallops you ferrais decided its worth winning and incuring a 1 kilo penalty i cant understand the logic.

i hope ferraris is genius wins the race and he can say he new he was 2 kilos better than this field.

Have to agree with Henny. July is often very close thing since into of merit ratings, the penalty is a clanger of note by the pros.

When she last won she should have been allotted a Fillies & Mares allowance?,

Shes still won with plenty of fire in hand under that weight, What a good Mare.

Well done Mr Ormonde Ferraris, a masterful performance under 59,5kg.

Eddington was strapped up for this race, was this the first time?, and did not look like he was the happiest horse.

Not too clever...others were looking on

I also tend to think that the extra 1kg won't effect this filly - especially as it's several Kg's less than she's already carried.

However, I still believe PP will take all the beating - although DD looks further ahead then I thought and could well be the 'Sun Classique' of next year and imvho the Filly most likely to run PP close.

powerofone all the other july runners wee looking on the win looked impresive but none of the other july ruinners had a go .

at the weights pocket got a lot to do,
im just sad as i backed the filly at big odds and still hope she wins but if she runs 2nd ill be gutted in thinking what might have been.
