The one that gets me is Carry on Alice getting the sprinter award.
As good as she has been, was she the best sprinter in the country this season?
Not on MR .
Not on outstanding performance.
Not on WFA or even handicap G1 performance in open company..comparing her fillies only restricted performances to open G1 is also nonsensical as they are not equal .
Just feel sorry for the Bull Valley connections because the only reason I can see for him not getting the award is some political or "ag shame it's her last season and she has been so good" vote.

It was on tellytrack so I am sure you did see a rather spectacular evening.
The dance and singing group "live show company" were first class
The jocks were superb with Lyle and Anthony (very emotional) speaking very well to match the trainers Tarry and MDK.
Well done to all the winners and losers for having nominations.
It was a late but very enjoyable evening, meeting many old racing friends and the uber driver got us home safe and sound.

THE great SA-bred race mare National Colour on Sunday evening was crowned NSW Champion Broodmare at the annual Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA) industry awards in Sydney, Australia.
The grey National Colour is the dam of last season’s South African Gr1 winners Mustaaqeem & Rafeef – the latter having recently retired to Highlands/part of Ridgemont, to start his own career at stud
