Usual midweek fare - 5 maidens that does look relatively easy - handicaps competitive as is the case most of the time - thoughts:
R1: The debutante Genesis from pole position does not have to be too good to win this; only competition seems to be Swing Vote, who is having his 11th start but does have the advantage of a very experienced rider, and Queen Anne who fades very late, but could keep going today from a good draw
R2: A few lightly raced 3 yr old fillies take each other on; Go Thuli Go threw in the towel late last time but has an obvious chance today; Microbe if not for the draw would have been my first choice and Sofii's Miesque is capable of improvement over this 1400 from pole position; then there is the debutants Circle of Latitude and Raven Girl, who have both found betting support - not the easiest of the maidens today ....
R3: Carmalita made a sparkling debut and will win this if she is ready after the break; her opposition looks moderate unless one of the first-timers can spring a surprise
R4: King of the Delta worthy favorite on his last start - Come the Day has found some betting support, so could be the one to make the favorite run
R5: I think this is open; Pilou and Starret City the obvious two from good draws, but many have chances; I'm loading up
R6: I liked the way Penny from Heaven won her maiden; the form is yet to be tested, but imo she accelerated like a good thing and will find this 1600 to her liking; main danger imo is Chapati, who as a 5yr old has come good and still could have some scope as this is her 10th start; others to consider are Polar Secret (more to do ?), Sha-Boom Sha-Boom and perhaps Braxton who needs to improve imo - I'm taking a chance on PfH
R7: All Night Flight very consistent and sure to be right there again, but even though he now is better off at the weights with Cathedral County, CC won going away from a wide draw last time and is on the up, so could hold ANF again; none of the others (despite some big prices) can really be discounted, but imo CC will make them run....
R8: Does not appear to be too many that can win this; Great Shaka improving rapidly, but something had to run 3rd last time, so if any of the first timers are better than average, GS could be made to work hard .... Wiggle Wiggle tries blinkers and has found some betting support, while Howhighthemoon (blinkers would need to work wonders) is a lunatic inclusion in the P6 for me
Enjoy

Its not the strongest of runners to have started odds on....and is just above the median of maiden winners....without improvement over the shorter distance it could very well be beat. But i will be with this one....and hope some unexposed one doesnt improve past it.
