G'morning ... hmmm, my best outsider for today, Pudding n Pie in race 5 has shortened into 8/1 ... was hoping for longer odds. But having read Catsmug post re: Race 4 Golden Occasion... I suppose someone put R50 on it. (Puddin n Pie that is)...

Methinks someone very brave backing Golden O at Arlington from draw 16. I can however see the logic, beat Vangelis and now 2.5 kgs better off at the weights. For me the problem is 'ran on, won' at Fairview is very different to Arlington, where dropping out (from draw 16) and 'running on' is not the best of strategies.
