"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon Friday 27 June Workings.

Afternoon,

This afternoon completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 1.8 and with being around 1.97 on arrival and just getting bigger and bigger as if a leg had fallen off! we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so a race to avoid for all. The runner was easily beaten and so the drift more than justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'.......

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 3.3 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave.......

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.3 and with being that and slightly shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 3.3 max. The price then went the other way and drifted to our own price of 3.6 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes, but glad of the 'free' lay now......

The 4th runner we wanted 1.6 and with being around 1.57 on arrival and slightly shorter, we had a lay at 1.57 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.......

The 5th runner we wanted 1.18 and with being around 1.38 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner pulled very hard and never settled, so despite winning a close photo, he was by far the best horse, so a good leave........

The 6th runner we wanted 2.32 and with being around 2.0 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 2.0 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.........

The 7th runner we wanted 2.5 and with being around 2.66 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage, so a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won a photo finish, so a good leave........

The 8th runner we wanted 2.6 and with being around 2.34 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at around 2.34 max. The lay came in a well beaten 2nd to the rank outsider and so a surprise, but a good result.......

The 9th runner we wanted 3.3 and with being around 2.78 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.78. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....

The 10th runner we wanted 3.1 and with being around 2.78 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.78. The race is over 20 minutes away, all strategy play is complete and so with just a little trading left I'm leaving it there, so good luck traders with the remainder..

WELL PLAYED.....................(2 from the first 3 (66.66%) went and won - 3 from the first 5 (60%) went and won - 4 from the first 7 (57%) went and won - and so it was tough, but we dealt with it very very well)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them)..........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner and despite a poor start, they then battled back to hit their targets on their 3rd lay (the 6th runner)..........They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 8th runner and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 9th runner)........That left them with an insufficient amount left to start another, so they end the session winning 2 targets...

'Bank building' strategy/target players started with a 'free' lay (the 3rd runner) that only bought sheer relief........They then had their 1st lay (the 4th runner) at 1.57 max and a good result see them hit their targets...

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £400

1st lay £100 to win the £100 target @ 1.57 max. Result positive. Win £100

Total bank now £500

Overall result. Target hit.

'Traders' have either won on all their trades thus far, so cracking stuff and good luck with the remainder..

So builders played a blinder early on and got the money; well played guys. Rollers made a couple and so that's great play too. Speak soon with this evening's workings..

Morning,

The races, runners and prices to work around for this afternoon -

2.20 Doncaster. PETER'S GIFT (1.97)

Our price 11/10 (2.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.8 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, she has shown enough speed on debut to suggest she can race very prominently in context with this race today - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

2.30 Folkestone. RIO ROYALE (2.8)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he has shown he can dominate his races, so no surprise to see the same tact applied for this race - Also please note that a little more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

3.05 Folkestone. AUTUMN BLADES (1.28)

Our price 1/4 (1.25) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.18 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a little more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

3.15 Market Rasen. ZILCASH (2.2)

Our price 13/8 (2.625) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.32 or under. *Traders be aware, that although he can race a few ways, it wouldn't be any surprise to see a prominent display this afternoon*

5.25 Market Rasen. FILM FESTIVAL (2.68)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.5 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to lead, or race very prominently in his races*

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 10.05am.

That's our work for this afternoon then. A mixture of races and make ups and although looking tricky, we do have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings.
