Bob posted a comparative screen shot of a lot of shares sold on Mon and Tues. This thread or on others?

Have no doubt that the treatment of David Safi is along the same lines of bullying. I say fuck them all. Anyone in racing now needs to demonstrate where they stand. Jockeys should boycott these horses. Trainers should send them all back to klavervlei. All of them the bloody lot. Bookmakers should refuse to price up a race where these horses run. 1 week of this along with a punters boycott of the tote and our sport can then rebuild.

Antepost betting in any market where these horses feature should be suspended.

And the rest of us. Those who care need to them step up and support those that take the stance above. It’s now time to take sides.

......a tad harsh....but it would take a real man to walk away from the trough while there is still gravy....if the taps are off then they should back off..... in the old days when my grandfather trained.....when there was a defaulting owner....the horse/s would be taken out the main stable and out of work and put in the spare boxes outside the main racing stable with others that were out of work or recuperating ....these horses would be fed with the leavings from the main stable and only released to the owners or put back into training when accounts were settled.....

Len of all the people ill ever agree with on anything OTA would have been 1.01 the last.

What is needed is someone ANYONE in racing to stand up and say

" To Whom it May concern

As a trainer/owner LOVER and person that respects horse racing. I will no longer

ride or train any of these horses. Please remove me as a rider and or please come collect the horses immediately. "

There is a duty of care to the sport as a whole that needs to be respected. In 8 months time when all is said and done i don't want to hear trainer for example saying . " well i had no choice but to continue "

There is a choice

choose horse racing 1st

this situation can only become more and more untenable as the days proceed. its time to cut loose.

What happens if a horse in these colours wins a race or even a big race. Is there supposed to be happiness and back clapping?

COME on all you professionals reading this do the right thing

Like most things people make decisions that suit them most regardless of the circumstances.

Larry and the Shams, let's just say I am not surprised at Len and his views.

it sounds good and moral but imagine the lowest earners in the industry- grooms - how many will be let go if stables have t follow this? Tara's whole yard of grooms no job.. Lets maybe wait and see a statement from Mayfair - I feel for those guys not having a Festive seasin.. the longer they can get a salary the better

Mr Hawaii

Ill take 5/10 that if Tara took action (as above) her stable would be refilled by proper racing people pretty quickly.

but the longer that does not happen the more harder that becomes.
