First off amazing legal eagle only champions can win in that manner. Hats off. One of the best milers I've seen.

Second captain America a more honest horse you won't find. Love him to bits.

And also very proud of Marinaresco's run - well done boy - just hope he gets the same pace in the met.

Two fantastic Gr 1 races - I for one did not rate the 3yr olds - yesterday Magical Wonderland changes my mind - and today it's there for all to see : Eyes Wide Open, first 3 in the Paddock stakes beating the best older filly on the country :ohmy:

And what a race the LQP was .... will LE go for the Met - probably has to as it will be at his mercy this year .... question is will he back to emulate Pocket Power next year .... this is what makes racing great

Are you having a laugh! He ran fourth in the met as a 3 year old! Then basically broke down and came back from the dead! 3.3 lengths off in the QP over a distance too short! He might never be the same horse, but Gold standard was of champion ability, and hopefully will come back

Not a terrible run,and suspect both he and African Night sky will be threating in the Met.
In context , Copper Force ran fantastically here and would not be the stable favourite nor would many think is as good as GS so wouldn't be writing off these good horses yet.
