Garrick, I have long been an admirer of your posts. I must however tip my hat, and say that this is possibly the greatest piece concerning local racings capture that I have ever read.

Give that man a Bells !
And a Johnny Black and a Chivas Regal.
No more hail the chief from the sycophants.
It is time for SA racing to cleanse itself from these leeches.
Time to take back the Racing Trust from Phumelela and Wainstein.
Time for the NHA to find ways to fund itself and stop being a Phumelela puppet.
Time for the stakes agreement to be made transparent and adhered to.
Time for tote anomalies to be rectified and the public reassured.
Time to out the dopers, no matter how big they.
Time to bring racing back to the people.
Time for Phumelela's gambling license to be reviewed and force it focus more on local horseracing and the terms of its agreement (time to end this monopoly).
It's time to pay back the money.

....easier said than done....that Jooste stain is ingrained.....people will still mumble and whisper for many many years to come.....those that are outspoken and want it to change will never be let in to try and re-arrange.....
