R5, Torre Del Oro should go close off that weight. The immediate market rivals Zouaves and Pure Blond may be better suited to slightly further, and at the weight turn-around, it's difficult seeing Pure Blond finishing ahead of Torre Del Oro
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Here are my fancies however the card looks to hold little hope for small punters
1 Saint Michael looks all overs
3 Cumberland Sporting Monarch Tandava none are distance suited but upset potential
4 Announcing Rain
5 African Ruler if ready
6 Scotland
8 Salmon Run

Race 1...Savitar each way bet for me. I know that Saint Michael has the betting support and dropped in the betting. Most probably can win.....but Savitar ran 6 lengths to Lobo Legend and the form of that race is out of the top draw. Even the horse that ran last ran third in its next start. I just think that 7/2 a win and 5/10 a place on the track were it ran it's best race to date 2 runs back is something to take note off.

Not sure where you see '6 lengths to Lobo Legend' .... in my book it shows 12.9 lengths - still as you say the form of that race is strong and he also ran 5 lengths behind Brightnumberten (who is no slouch) - so I also think he is nice value

Thanks. I got the info slightly mixed up as I am at work......and with a house focus. Actually meant 12.9 lengths. The 6 lengths was a typo...what I was trying to say was that the horse that ran 16 lengths in that race Little Magic came out and won, and then ran 2nd again.
Now that I see what I typed it only covered half my thoughts ...Thanks for the heads up Frodo

Am having a bit E/W on Reventador in the first (12/1 in the UK). Ran well last week until weakening near the finish and the drop back to 1000m should suit in what doesn't look the strongest of maidens.

I think a challenging card - smallish fields except for the 4th and the 8th ... so probably even when the fancied runners get beat, divs may not be in the champagne and caviar category
R1: Saint Michael all the rage - gets blinkers and back to the 1000 should be hard to beat; Savitar has fair form and coul make SM run; then the filly Class Protector had a great run in the Cape behind Ngaga and could upset here
R2: Weakish looking maiden where Mademoiselle does not have to be a star to win - obvious dangers could be Esstoora and Internetbet who both had made fair debuts - Kindavar and Thru Thic and Thin have had a few chances so needs improvement imo
R3: Should be a closely contested handicap; Barrack Street has been very disappointing but his run behind Speedpoint in the Cape was very good - not sure why Lyle is no riding, but must be considered; He's Great holds both Punta Cana (should improve) and Rebel's Champ; neither Sporting Monarc nor Whorly Whorly can be ignored
R4: 16 fillies and mares contesting a handicap - so many with chances; I think at the price Lady of the World has as much chance as any and Inyanga also looks well in at the weights - obviously none of the fancied runners can be ignored
R5: Looks like another teaser; Torro del Oro is in good form and could run them down and Splendid Garden is really due for another win (752 days since his last) and looks nice value; Zoauves has seemingly found betting support, for me the 1200 could be too short, but all of Marmook (1 kg out not that serious over a sprint), Golden Man (always a trier) and Pure Blonde look lively runners
R6: Another open race; bar the obvious ones, I think Defy Gravity is worth including; probably needed his first run back after gelding and has dropped in the ratings, so should be competitive here; Trip to Paradise another that can challenge at the weights, but with him one can never be sure that he will jump ....
R7: Smallest field in the P6, so maybe the race to take a chance - Afwaa cosy win last time when supported in the betting and may have more to come, biggest danger imo Red Ridge
R8: Another 16 filles and mares trying to earn money in a handicap; Beautiful Shay won nicely last time and from a good draw again rates the one to beat; Gold Shades could upset, while Hatfield Square should again be right there
All in all not easy with no obvious races to go short imo
