There are some interesting responses to what I have posted.
The facts are simple. A man has asked for financial assistance because he does not have a pension and will need help going forward. The same man has asked for medical assistance before and has received it. The man has purchased a race horse after asking for and receiving financial assistance. I say that is morally reprehensible.
There are those however that believe this type of behaviour is acceptable. It is their right to have these beliefs. In many ways this forum is a microcosm of the corrupt society we live in these days and explains how criminals like Jacob Zuma and Markus Jooste were allowed to operate for the periods that they did with limited challenges.
I say again. If Mollett owns one hair of a race horse and can afford the costs, he does not qualify for charity, regardless of your views on him as an individual.

As an aside, forums are meant to stimulate debate and allow individuals to air their views, regardless of where theY stand on a matter. My views have always been my own, and I have always been prepared to defend them against the differences of opinion some people have . This stimulates debate, and debate is good. So whilst I appreciate the support from some, I also appreciate the views of those that oppose my views. Far rather that something is debated than ignored.

@Young Generation
I get your point of view but respectfully, disagree. We have too many examples in racing, and in our country, of the fruits of not speaking out against things that are wrong.

OTA, how dare you call out poor old Molly like that and say its "not cool" to do what he did ?
Then you have the audacity to give some of the upstanding folk here a lecture on principles and morality, you "self-righteous, sanctimonious little prick". Next thing you'll be having a go at Markus Jooste.
Well, personally, i'm pleased I also gave Molly "fuck all" cause if I want to buy a horse i'll buy it with my own money not give my money to someone else to buy it and then not even own a share in it.
