Peter, if you had to rate SC.... Would she be your best filly you have bred?
And who would you rate as your best colt? Last Winter?

Are you living your life or waiting to die?

Thanks.
Siren’s Call has a Duke Of Marmalade foal, and is in foal to Trippi.
Siren’s Call and Last Winter by far the best I’ve bred.
We don’t yet know how good Last Winter will be as he is very lightly raced having missed his whole 3yo season.
Siren’s Call beat both Same Jurisdiction and Smart Call each time they met in Jhb, and had she not been injured, I have no doubt that she could have won multiple Gr1s. We never saw the best of her.
Sadly, Siren’s Call dam died the year after SC was born.
Field Flower, dam of Last Winter still going strong. Has a 3 yo Var filly Vase running for Plattner Racing; missed the following year, and the yearling filly by Elusive Fort did not get her reserve at the CTS sale in January, so I guess I’ll be racing her. Another Elusive Fort at foot, and in foal to What a Winter.
My next best that I’ve bred have been Ernie; Forest Fox; Blarney Bay; Freedom Charter.

How unlucky was Siren! On this day in 2015 she played up at the start before narrowly failing to win the Oaks

Awesome memories Peter and wish you many, many more with her progeny. The impact of some horses in our lives can be difficult to articulate in words.
