"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon Session' Monday 7 July Workings.

Afternoon.

This afternoon completed and went as follows;

The 1st runner we wanted 1.7 and with being around 1.83 on arrival and then a non runner and 9.1% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 1.64. The price then came down to us and slightly beyond, so we had a lay at 1.64 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders did get their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.......

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.7 and with being around 2.36 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'.........

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.0, but a non runner and 22.7% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.55 (2.56 nearest exchange price). The price was around 2.9 on arrival and didn't drop down to us, so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten and so another 'one that gets way in hindsight'..

The 4th runner we wanted 2.0 and with being around 1.97 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 1.97 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 2.3 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten, so a good result......

The 5th runner we wanted 2.5 and with being around 2.86 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so another 'gets away in hindsight'.....

The 6th runner we wanted 2.94, but a non runner and 12.2% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.7. The price was a well supported 2.4 and shortening on arrival and so we had a lay at 2.4 max. The price then went for a walk and out to our own price of 3.0 (was 3.25 before reductions) and so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result.......

The 7th runner we wanted 3.3 and with being around 2.94 and shortening on arrival, we had a lay at 2.94 max. The lay looked in trouble but came back to force a very close photo, and with a dead/heat called, it could've been better, but a whole lot worse too......

The 8th and final runner we wanted 1.6 and with being around 1.98 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'........

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED..............(Too many drifters this session regarding builders, but rollers made the money and so well played)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won 1 target...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and then hit their targets on their 3rd lay (the 6th runner), so with not having enough potential lays left to start another, they end the session winning one target...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 1.64 max, but a poor result see them go behind early...........They then had a 'free' lay (the 4th runner) that bought a tiny profit.......They then had another 'free' lay (the 6th runner) that bought a tiny profit..........Then came their 2nd lay (the 7th runner) and a dead heat see them concede between 0.95 and 1.1 of a target....

'Traders' won or broke level on all their trades, so they had a good session and well played guys..

So builders were made to work very hard due to the drifters this session, but it's slowly but surely for them, and Rollers did well as they go the money, so well played and speak later.

2.30 Brighton. LIKE FOR LIKE (1.81)

Our price Evens (2.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that although lightly raced, she has shown pace to lead and so no surprise to see her do so again this afternoon - Also please note that a little more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

2.45 Musselburgh. GORDONSVILLE (3.1)

4.15 Musselburgh. CUTTING COMMENTS (3.5)

Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.3 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although he's lightly raced, he has shown the speed to race very prominently, so no surprise to see the same tactics applied for today*

4.30 Brighton. ARABIAN ART (1.67)

Our price 4/5 (1.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.6 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that she has a tendency to lead, or race very prominently in her races*

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account up until 10.04.am

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. A mix of races and make ups and although never easy, especially with the weather changing the goings since last evening, we do have enough within our armoury to go into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings.
