Yip Mac i expect it to win the Derby but have a couple of decent bets on the second and third favs at big odds.

Its always a difficult call for the triple crown, do u go for it and then the ARC ?

Its heavy for a 3 year old and even Nijinsky just got beat in the ARC after winning the triple crown.

Considering that it would have to meet Cracksman and possibly Enable ?

Whatever happens some great racing ahead

I saw that and that the stable say that this was always the plan.

APOB says that the horse will improve from the Guineas to the Derby (bookies in the UK have shortened him from evens to around 5/6 on the back of that comment yesterday).

Personally I think that the Guineas was going to be hard for him (Job done!) but that he would be better over a mile and a half of the Derby.

He really looks a good thing for the Derby and he should get the St Leger distance better than the Guineas distance.

All in, my analysis says that he will win the Triple Crown

Its around 5/1 the double, or should i say the triple

Saxon Warrior is way too short for the Derby. He may well win it (I'm not totally convinced about his stamina, though), but there's no way he should be odds on.

Still odds on despite Roaring Lion's impressive win in the Dante.

I think I read Roaring Lion will probably skip the English Derby and aim for the French Derby?

That wouldn't surprise me, although I'm not sure Chantilly will be the ideal track for him, given his tendency to go left under pressure.
