No one likes to see horses getting hurt

.....for me the last big meeting of the season did not sit well....not talking from the pocket either
.....apart from Terry Spargo butchering commentaries....what made me very uneasy is poor Kitty's Destiny breaking down in the main race....never had it my play....actually thought a total no hoper as better form had been achieved on Poly...but imo it was ultimately the polytrack that did the damage....a lot of criticism as to the grass track being patchy dull narrow problems in the pull up.....all due to the close proximity of the poly....well little do we know the horses in the Gold Cup had to run across a section of this poly....and Kitty hit this strip at a bit of pace trying to get a position before the bend....and that's what did it....running at pace from one surface to another is not very safe....
