Good day to all,

I like the look of this card, small fields normally causes upsets, but I still like the look of this card as it is more punter-friendly than other Flamingo Park meetings.

Race 1: I am going against the favourite Director's Rock in the first. Grizzard to win it from Director's Rock, Catchthemaster and Value At Risk. Ignore Grizzard's last run at Turffontein, Wayne nearly got dislodged at the start and never got his feet back in the irons. His last run at Flamingo Park was a nice third behind Corrival and Royal Stag that finished 2nd did come out and won his next start, so the form from that race as been franked.

Race 2: Dame Judith to win it from Kariba Sunrise, So Good and Cath. Dame Judith's last run was a very nice run, the 2nd placed horse on that occasion Betty Davis won her next start, once again form that has been franked.

Race 3: Miesque's Speed to win it from Calls To Heaven, Pavarotti Passion and Panther Strike. Miesque's Speed had a very nice 2nd last time out behind That's All and will enjoy the extra 100m this time around. The 1400m will be on the sharp side for Calls To Heaven, he needed his last run at Turffontein. He needs to be respected in this race.

Race 4: Rockefeller to win it from Trillion Stars, Assisted Take Off and For Ever. Rockefeller has the best jockey on for front running tactics like he normally runs. Trillion Stars ran a very nice race last time over the 2200m Pinnacle Plate.

Race 5: Royal Master to win it from Nice Chap, Double Ransom and Air Salute. Royal Master is the form horse in the race and should be very hard to beat in this race.

Race 6: Very very hard fillies and mares race. I am going with Sultry from Top Salute, Euan' Me and Jo Mambo. Sultry loves this track and is consistent as they come.

Race 7: Bishop Of Bombay to win it from Soviet Cosmonaut, Rock Of Asia and Just Ask Me. Bishop Of Bombay is the best weighted horse in the race and has very nice Flamingo Park form. He finished 2.25 lenghts behind Timkat and 1.85 lenghts behind Roquebrune in his last start. We all know how good Timkat is in Flamingo Park. Roquebrune has since came out and won a race after that.

Race 8: Lake Washington to win it from Phil's Power, All Of Me and Winter Trade. Lake Washington will be hard to beat with a galloping weight of 52kg's on his back, he likes to go to the front and I feel he will be hard to catch with that weight. Watch out for Winter Trade with 48kg's on his back today.

Race 9: A very hard race to finish of the day. One's to like is Tune The Scope, Thewaywemakem, Just Africa, Green Boegatti and In Rem. Ignore Tune The Scope's last run, he is my pick in this race.
