Gallops for this Friday’s CTS Ready To Run sale take place at Durbanville from 9am until 1pm on the day, and will be shown live on Tellytrack.
The sale itself is always a feature of the Cape season, and kicks off at the same venue at 6pm the same evening, with 117 lots going under the hammer.
Then on Saturday the R2.5 million CTS Ready To Run Stakes takes place at Kenilworth for Graduates of last year’s sale.
Current favourite Cirillo provides a good advertisement for the benefits of buying here, as he was knocked down to Sean Tarry’s primary owner Chris Van Niekerk for a mere R60,000.
He has already amassed just over R500,000 in stakes, with a whopping R1,250,000 further to follow if victorious on the weekend.
