UK and Ireland Tuesday

Plenty of racing before the big York meeting starting on Wednesday ( more to follow).

Beverley where the punters can get off to a flyer where Quiet Place looks hard to beat.
Chepstow, Sedgefield, Ffos Las, Southwell, Killarney and Tramore where Quevega daughter runs.
If you remember the star won 16 times from 24 starts including 6 at Cheltenham.
The baby is named Princess Vega and should be watched in race one.

Good Punting

She has a long, long way to go before she is as good as her mother – 15 more wins, six Cheltenham Festival victories and four Grade 1s to be precise – but Princess Vega did something Quevega couldn't do when she made a winning start to her racing career at Tramore on Tuesday.

Princess Vega is the first foal out of the sensational Quevega to appear on a racecourse and she powered clear in the closing stages of the opening 2m maiden hurdle for an emphatic seven-and-a-half length win under champion jockey Paul Townend.

Loved Princess Vega's jump at the last. Just cleared the obstacle like she was just starting the race. The chassis must be monstrous.
