Kissable now 81 Rating but 83 Rating showing on Race Cards

On the day that Flamingo Park for the 3 August 2019 fields was declared Kissable merit rating was dropped to 81 by the handicappers on the same day. Will Kissable weight decrease by 1kg if the press release was sent out prior 10h00 on the day of the declaration.

Should horses merit ratings first be adjusted on Monday morning before any final fields are declared.

Epol Umngeni Handicap (Listed)
SUNSET EYES has had his rating raised from 100 to 105 after his easy success in the Listed Epol Umngeni Handicap over 1000m at Greyville on Saturday. Consistent runner-up FILIPPO was used as the line horse here and as such his rating remains unchanged.

Third placed NEPTUNE’S RAIN was dropped from 102 to 101, while in other drops ATTENBOROUGH goes from 102 to 100, KISSABLE was cut from 83 to 81, and TOWNSHIP MELODY goes from 89 to 87.

lets not get started. on the 1st everyone is going up 10 points and in some cases. In particular PE and Kimberley there are exceptions. so who know what rating will apply .

also remember these NHRA rules are more like guidelines and no longer rules. so pretty much Monday has a different SOP to Tuesday and Jim has a different SOP to Mike etc.
