Soma Team racing

I had the pleasure of being invited to an open day at Joe Soma stables.
We were there early and also had a tour of David Van Nieuwenhuizen to have a look at Mill Queen, very impressed.
I must say i do prefer the older type vibe in the wooden sheds to the newer state of the art brick works.
I will follow this with some pics but there is definitely a real family vibe at the Soma stables.
The grooms, owners, horses all blend in well together and the horse on display were stunning ( a list of various options for shares to follow.)
Deez was the master of ceremonies and as normal did a superb job with his enthusiasm.
A few big owners there and Dayalan Chinsammy ( Got The Green Light) was very generous to all the grooms and his family handed out nice gifts to keep everyone in a festive mood.

All in all a great day, good hospitality and very knowledgeable inputs from team Soma who would appear to have a good season to look forward to.
Both David and Joe have in the region of 50 horses and should be followed
