Watch interviews on Tabonline

In an effort to promote transparency and act as the bridge connecting the sport of horseracing’s loyal punters to the people – jockeys and trainers – whose insights could help them back winners on a daily basis, TAB Online will now afford punters the opportunity to view post-race interviews on its site.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2019
And they will be up about 10 minutes after each interview has been broadcast live on Tellytrack.

The good news is, you will not have to spend a single cent of your money on a subscription fee. It is free, so you can spend a little extra on punting.

These interviews will be up for every single meeting in South Africa and you can even watch them your cell phone. You are also provided the option of changing the video resolution, just in case you are looking to save data.

Another positive is that these videos will be archived on the site so you can go back as far back as three months or more to refresh your memory if you wish.

It is extremely hard to argue the importance of form guides, especially when gambling – you 100% need them.

However, it is imperative you add post-race interviews to your form studying arsenal and here is why.

Shrewd punters will know that all of our Tellytrack presenters regularly ask every jockey and trainer to comment on their winning horse – information you can pencil into your black book for future use.

They also ask them to discuss the chances the remainder of their runners on the day.

This information is priceless and could be the difference between sending your Pick 6 ticket straight to the trashcan or being one of the few punters who finds that 100-1 rank outsider – a result that could result in the Pick 6 returning you thousands or even millions of rands.

This sort of information will specifically come in handy when faced with a field filled with newcomers or races where the form is hard to read.

Better than nothing I guess but my personal experience,

Nearly every track has replays of their races within 5 minutes to 10 minutes on their website after they have run. Most of the tracks now upload their videos to Youtube as well. Foresight is better than hindsight. By watching horses past runs gives you more knowledge to analyze their form. Phumelela seriously needs to show past races without charging a fee. Gold Circle now posts express replays after 10 to 15 minutes after a race is a run.

You are not going to find bigger prices winners by listening to trainers comments. They rather provide horses well being/health than giving their perception on their chance of winning.
