Another tricky card to follow that of the Vaal on Tuesday.
An interesting runner is Cats Baloo 6m in the 3rd. 0-1-11. Changed from the Tarry stable to MJ Odendaal. Rested 774 days.
Anyone have any information as to the long layoff?

Race 1
Dennis Bosch
No 4 Girl From Ipanema - Has not been in the stable too long so we
still trying to find her most suitable distance
No 10 Noble Freedom - Has her first run for the stable but has some
useful Cape form to recommend and she should give a decent account of
herself.
No 7 Sigma Alpha - Has been disappointing, so just hoping for some improvement
Tony Rivalland
No 1 Hamsa Grove - Has not raced since July but is a talented filly.
She may just need it, place chance
Race 2
Doug Campbell
No 13 Rocket Rhumba - He's very well and if not for his bad draw, i
would make him a big runner
Race 3
Duncan Howells
No 3 Born To Rock - She was disappointing last time but i'm hoping she
can improve over the extra distance
Race 4
Duncan Howells
No 5 Legend - Consistent form before rest. May just need it.
No 9 Straight Up - Would prefer further but can be included in quartets
Michael Roberts
No 7 The Private - He comes back after a short lay-off. In with a place chance
Race 5
Brett Crawford/Peter Muscutt
No 9 Kingston Rock - Had excuses last time. He is working well but has
a wide draw to contend with. One to include in quartets
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 3 Liquidity - Has run two decent races since his maiden win.
Quartet inclusion
Tony Rivalland
No 11 Lotsa Silver - He's fit and well but his wide draw is a concern
Michael Roberts
No 2 Lupo - His last run is best ignored. He has drawn well this time
and should be a runner
Race 6
Dennis Bosch
No 3 Born To Perform - He's in good form and has a nice galloping
weight. Although it is a competitive field, he should run well.
Tony Rivalland
No 7 Tristful - He's in a good space at the moment and likes the
course and distance. Should run a big race
Race 7
Duncan Howells
No 5 Beat It - Could find this 1600 meters a touch on the far side but
should be included in the quartet
Michael Roberts
No 14 Jack's Bird - She's nicely weighted but has a wide draw to overcome
No 13 Statute - Poorly drawn, so will need luck in running
No 7 Winter Sun - She's a consistent filly and should run another nice race
Race 8
Doug Campbell
7 Plymouth Rock - All his wins have been on the polytrack. He tries
the turf again but has been working well and ii'm hoping for a decent
run
Tony Rivalland
No 1 Pollard - He has shown his best form on the poly track but is fit
and well and should
run a nice race
Race 9
Duncan Howells
No 10 Captive Gold - Showed good improvement in her latest run and i'm
expecting a first four finish
Dennis Bosch
