Starting early thread.

We might be off the air plus I am away and could miss race 4.

Canadian Bolt should go close.

The fav in the 4th also looks a fair bet but we are giving Noble Diana another chance after running poorly in all her races (sprint and over ground) we really expected some improvement.??
We can only hope she can surprise us .

Master Vision looks banker
Baby Shoes should run well.

Good Punting

R1: 14 PSTATS Forest Jump (3.50) seems fittest here on BAT figures the best by a bit and from a 1 draw with Appie claim again claimed looks to be involved in the finish again.Marcus has Canadian Bolt trying again to win after a lengthy layoff and not sure if he is ready or better to be winning this time as Forest Jump last AT time is slightly better than Canadian Bolts best. Shining Bright (5.5) only runner Roberts returns from a small rest only so could be competitive with Astute Palace best SR and 2nd best BAT42 probably the best lurker. Ulterior motive (8.00) could also return from the small rest a little better to compete here. Seattle Samba (50.00 ) older BAT form and now with blinkers fitted is one that could make the quartet pay and Arries had a winner here last meeting

R2:3 PSTATS Extravargent (3.50) has Marcus saddled again and blinkers removed with best BAT42 run by almost 5 on last run so should be competitive. Song of the Sea (7.50) is potentially a Sakhayi double attempt best AT, SR, EDMS a 67% to W and 2nd best Bat42 as ½ for Goosen . G Puller has 2 runners here both capable and Wishull Girl In (7.50) with best MS, BAM168 and BATC and bolt consistency is the one that seems capable t return stronger to compete here. Sanskrift (10.00) with stable change to Bosch and best BAM84, BAMCand 3rd BAT84 form could be anything returning for stable . Peppermint Tea (4.50) has best S , I and Purple Nkanyezi (5.50) has good enough BAT forms to deserve mentions and Spring Burst only runner for MJ Odendaal could run a place along with Mai Tai (12.00) for quartets

R3: 3 PSTATS All time High (5.50) now has pacifiers and as only runner wit bolt consistency has best ORA, GRA, ERA, AT, SR, s, I, SR% and TCurve and BAT168 form . Grey Lingari (6.75) with Kennedy booked has best I and all the BAMS. Royal Pursuit (12.00) best EDMS nice PSTATS must be included on that. Bhakka (5.50) will compete if liking the distance given his strong BATS here. Carbon Fire (2.85) has Marcus for a strong stable so cannot be left out on that. Eagles Vision (10.00) could like the distance and stable is coming to form Rasputin’s Remedy (25.00)) has decent enough BATS

R4: 4 PSTATS Ruby Cove (12.00) has best SR% 50% to W and best BAM168 at 75% to W so respected on PSTATS here. Mission Beach (5.50) best TCurve , ORA, ERA, AT, SR, F, BAM42 as well as best BAM42 at 75% to W and BAT42 at 75 % to W makes for a good case that he has as much chance as Ruby Cove and has better BAT form so pipps the editors first choice. Super Fluke ( 12.00 ) raids from JHB now with Khumalo and blinkers fitted for new stable with best BAT168 at 50% to W and also has best GRA and MS . Lady of Lutetia (3.3) has Kennedy now and also best BATC in the field trying the distance. Bold Move (3.30) has best SR% with 50% to W Excessive Grace (10.00) has good enough GREEN BATS to be a lurker that will drift as stable companion to the favourite Basetsana (3.30)
R5: ZERO PSTATS Queen of Beauty (3.50) will have to be our banker today and best ORA, GRA, ERA, EDMS, F, S, I, TCurve, BAM42, BAM84, BAM168, BAMC, BAT42, BAT84, BAT168 means he would have been top of most categories PSTATS in any case. He has 5 lengths to spare on Stormbourne Thunder (6.50) that is perhaps the biggest danger since Class of Eight (25.00) with best AT, SR, MS has very little BAT support Silver Prancer (3.3) is favourite here because of the Marcus factor but we will take a chance on Queen of Beauty here

R6: 8 PSTATS Brass Bell (5.50) Has best GRA, TCurve, BAM84, BAM168, BAMC returning only 6th run with flame hot and bolt consistency so should return better and already is not far off on BATS. What a Blast (2.2) has best ORA, ERA, SR%, BAM42 strong stable with Collabro (10.00) best EDMS and 2nd BAT42 over 1200 with Zackey riding from 2 draw has as much a say as stablemate. GimmetheNight (10.00) has best BAT42, BAT84, BAT168 as only runner for Marwing. Gimme Peace (2.00) has best F & S as well as SR% but a draw of 10 to overcome White Cedar (20.00) now gets blinkers fitted and Khumalo and has best BATC so a definite lurker inclusion here. The Bayou (14.00) has bolt consistency and a 4kg appie claim good JT combo both in form could be anything here. Constantine (20.00) has best AT, MS, I and a 1 draw another that has ability to surprise here

R7: 5 PSTATS Baby Shooz (3.30) won well when trying 1600 GRY and with best BAT42 as well as ORA, GRA, ERA, EDMS, F, S, I, SR%, TCurve, BAM42, BAM84, BAM168 could repeat here more than double TCurve points so perhaps a banker option but at the least Karoo Lark (4.50) from a 2 draw with bolt consistency as well as flame hot given Zackey retained and HUGE BAT improvement from 1000 to 1400 could very well enjoy the 200 mtr extra even more so must at least be included for exotics. Special Blend (4.50) have had 2 pretty decent 1600 BAT runs and has run in a mini feature last run and Khumalo retained now from a etter 4 draw could be competitive but carries a lot more weight today than his last run . Powered Beauty has a stable change as only runner for Anthony and best BAT form a win over 1600 VAL with good BAT value = 10 now returns from a rest back over 1600 and could be the lurker here. Justfortheepenny (4.50) has a jock change to Kennedy for inform N Kotzen stable and his 1600 win at SCT was best run a BAT of 9.74 good enough to compete with when running from 11 draw and gets 1 draw today Perfectly Putt (20.00) has good earlier BATS and now has a good stable change to boot at 20/1 price another lurker here that could surprise.

R8: 15 PSTATS Chaumaso (6.50) last run was much improved on BATS from 18.1 to 5.08 BAT42 when trying the 1400 and gets a further 200 mtr today that could be exactly what he needs to get closer to the winners box. Paddy’s Legacy (16.00 )has best GRA, F, S, I, TCurve and BAM42 a 53%to W on S so must be considered the lurker here. Master Vision ((7/10) has loads of support with best ORA, ERA, SR%, BAM84, BAM168, BAMC flame hot and Marcus booked ½ for Kotzen but could need more improvement from the rest to win this so not convinced that price. Fergie’s Rock (25.00) has blinkers removed and his last run was the best BAT42 in the field also ½ for Crawford and Appie claim wit best GRA, BAT42/BAT84,BAT168 could be a surprise from a good stable. Command Respect (20.00) had a 3rd over 1600 2 runs back and his last run returning from a rest had a decent BAT over 1100 and he could be better over the 1600 where he performed best prior to the rest so could be a worthy P6 inclusion. MasterofallISurvey (25.00) has a plum draw, good Trainer and great BAT improvement to 9.07 over 1400 so with extra 200 could also be considered a lurker here. MasterofmyLaugh (25.00) has better 1200 BAT form and tries 1600 from a good JT combo so could upset

Good racing and Merry XMAS and an AWESOME 2020

Race 1 - Forest Jump likes to go forward and draws pole. First start from a break this cd and was drawn wide when keeping on in a fair race. Last start placed over the distance and looks primed for a big one today.

Race 2 - Peppermint Tea better suited this distance but doesn't win too often.

Race 3 - Carbon Fibre has strong form and if suited by the distance should win.

Race 6 - Gimme Peace was unlucky last start but will likely have to pass most in the field. Distance not a problem if gets a good pace and a clear passage.
