Have been checking the registrations on the NHA website but they have not been updated since the lockdown

Noble Diana went to polo ( lovely farm )

There must be dozens if not hundreds retired since..

How many owners will chuck it? How many Punters will lose the sickness? ( not a bad thing tbh)

How many trainers will call it a day?

Can’t see racing happening for months tbh

Unless we have a blow out of the Chinese Wuhan virus i think we should be racing by 1 May at the latest.
The question that remains will it be under the auspices of phumelela or another entity.
if under Phumelela will stake cheques be paid ??
will riders fees be paid?? i am think um no.
will the TAB' open on day 1? probably not.
will owners and trainers be willing to race for no stake cheques and only for the prestige of winning MR 64 and perhaps a small punt.

The silence by RACING SA Inc is deafening in these uncertain times.
