Makes much more sense to wait for a horse to show champion ability and then rather make a serious offer to the owner ala Team Valor et al - than to pay for Pages and find you are sitting with dust after 6 months - But breeders would die if it were not for overvalued babies that are untested and trainers that whisper -"he's my pick of the sales and the only horse i must(NOT) buy(with your money)!!!"
