On Friday the 22nd of August Mickey Joannou passed away.This personality and charasmatic character/ex bookmaker will be missed in the racing circles.Condolences to the family on this difficult time.To L EERENSTEIN and everybody the funeral will take place at the Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday at 10.30.Confirmed.It was also published on Pretoria news classifieds.Louise please pass info to Vish and others as requested.

Yes sadly missed a good man, spent many a morning in his cafe at Moreleta Park, having his home made coffee on his gas stove, both with computerform in hand and he would always ask the same question "what have you heard today David"?.
