R1, think Double Charge is the one they all have to beat. Last 4 runs were around the turn and from tough draws. Last effort was much improved, and repeat should see him go close against this field. Favourite, Carlo Collodi, looks like the stable are searching for what is his right distance, nothing to suggest he will improve over the distance, and being a late foal, may need more time before actually showing his true potential. Worth taking on. Fort Red, has had more than a few attempts at breaking out the maiden ranks. Whilst he finished ahead of Double Charge last time they met, he jumped from a more favourable draw.

R3, Myhopeanddreams is relatively unexposed and does look the most likely open to improvement. If he stays the distance, definitely the one they all have to beat. Sudden Star looks to be the danger.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

In Race 3. Myhopeandreams is certainly unexposed but I believe The stable companion might just do that with Richard on board

Race 1 - 3 Carlo Collodi / 6 Fort Red
Race 2 - Sovereign Rose
Race 3 - 2 Azores
Race 4 - ??
Race 5 - 1 Rosemary Meadow
Race 6 - 4 Sing Out Loud
Race 7 - 5 Rewrite the Stars
Race 8 - 8 Faye / 7 Musical Glitch

All the best to all Clanners for today...stay safe and healthy...

US elections day...US policy impacts on our stock markets hence my interest...

The Democrats, MSM, Hollywood and the rest of the alphabet soup and their sycophants just don't get it...

Many people are tired of the arrogance of their ignorance...they are tired of being told...people want to be asked and their elected representatives to listen sincerely and act to improve their lives rather than talk empty promises while spewing epithets at anyone who doesn't share their hive/collective mentality ...

And those "tired" people will show up at the polls, vote and when all is totaled, DJT will win by 25-30 electoral college votes and the Democrats, MSM, Hollywood and the rest of the alphabet soup will still be asking why and how when it is right in front of them...

Race 1 paper trail. 6/1

Ignore the run in heavy two runs back when they abandoned meeting at the next race. Then last time out was first run back after gelding and raced wide the whole way and still managed to run a excellent race, now with that run behind him today I think you will see the best of him and the stable has hit good form. Big place bet..

Race 1 Dear Mr President should have a place chance today, I think he will enjoy Kenilworth 1200m.
Race 4 Somerset Maugham should win today, even though his previous race wasn't strongest, but Tripple Jet has come out won since.
Race 5 Will be disappointed if Rosemary Meadow doesn't win today, in her last run she got her head stuck in pens and lost a few lengths and still finished just behind Regina Isabella and Do Angels Cry.
Race 7 I'm biased with regards to Rewrite the Stars
Race 8 Faye has a 7kg turnaround with the weights with Alfred's Girl (always runs a game race) and just needs to find her earlier good form.

Lovely summers day. No wind yet but moderate headwind expected later. Course will again be fast and suit handy runners.
Race 1Fort Red has been knocking on the door and deserves to shed his maiden soon. Paper Trail I agree with Batman, is a big runner here. Double Charge fair form but I think wants further now. Carlo Collodi and Star Captain not out of it, and a couple of first timers to watch.
Race 2 Sovereign Rose should win this. Glitter in the Air good debut and could improve to challenge. Quite a few with place chances.
Race 3 Very competitive- my order of preference: My Hopes and Dreams/ Silver de Lange/ Knights Templar/ Sudden Star
Race 4 Somerset Maugham found one better last time but should easily win this, although odds are very skinny. Will be a popular banker.
Race 5 Rosemary Meadow my first pick, but all of Regina Isabella, En Garde, Do Angels Cry can pop up.
Race 6 I am really puzzled why Jeans Man runs here badly in at the weights when he would be a penalty kick in a handicap off his current artificially low rating. The two fillies Larentina and Follow the Star are best in at the weights and must be included despite being ignored in the betting. Herodotus quite well in, but may need this and further. More Magic is the form horse and must be respected, but if any of the other three put their best foot forward he will need to improve to win.
Race 7 A very open race- anything can win. Although a small field there seems to be quite a bit of pace. Our filly Fynbos is fit and well and another honest run expected.
Race 8 A very tricky race.

PeterD re R1 ) just on the change of draws alone, compared to last race they met - I believe DOUBLE CHARGE will beat FORT RED ! Whether Double will win - well Aldo will give it his ALL from that good draw !
