And this is not about the jockey, or the trainer or whomever...it is what I believe is fairness: as long as there are loopholes, there will be those who exploit them...and I have no objection to that...because that is what handicapping, draws, gamesmanship and interpretation of rules are...??? But if it is not in the spirit of the game...then make the penalties harsh...

And further to this...Is the sluice down the straight at Scottsville...not contributing to all the bad rides and results...so should the racecourse officials take some of this blame??? We blame the jockeys but is it really their fault? Let's give blame where blame is due...;)
