Races 1 2 and 7 Andre Nel Yard

Not very inspiring card today. Overcast and a few drops of rain about. Very little wind.
Going should be perfect.
Race 1 Ovation appeared not to act in the soft last time- should go better today and if that run is ignored has the strongest form. Hendo Shuffle, Wind Sock, What a Bolt some fair runs. Bramhall Phoenix and Gaudis Masterpiece fair debuts and scope to improve may be the main dangers. The unraced runners must be considered, as the exposed form is not too strong.
Race 2 The unraced runners may hold the key, Rio Querari has met strong fields each time and looks the best of the raced runners. Demelza fair debut and good scope for improvement.
Race 3 not much between Winter Scout, Impressive Queen, and Anything for Love, in order of preference.
Race 4 Snaith sends out half the field, and his best would seem to be Vida Futura. Waiting for Summer two good runs and should go close.
Race 5 Adderbury Lake has been the model of consistency, although costly to follow. She should get it right today. Not much between the others. Enchanted Creek perhaps best of the rest, although the well bred Dyanne has just had one run in the wet, and could show big improvement today.
Race 6 Only 4 runners left after the scratchings and very little between them. Brianna flopped last time when strongly supported, but again that may have been because of the going.
Race 7 A very open handicap. Sonic Burst has come down to a fair rating and should pick up her next win soon.
Race 8 Quite a weak maiden, and an upset possible. The form out of Coolusive's last run is quite strong, and he and Tara Iti should fight it out, but quite a few others with chances (1,2,4,6,7)

Do people still punt in the Cape? I opened the card had a look laughed and closed it. Bye!

Nice win from Waiting For Summer, went from a possible third place after the start, to third last, turning for home.
