And put that money back in the next day and thus increase turnover, take-out and stakes...

A massive Pick6 winner (and that is likely to be some-one in the know who can go short in some legs), is not likely to return that money to the pools...

If I want a Lotto type payout, I'll take the Lotto as no amount of study can enable one to predict some of the results that we often see...so why waste my time...just take a quick pick and leave it to luck...

Are punters worried by low turnover/low dividend when striking their bet?

Its not about winning huge dividends but all over the world there is a bet that difficult to catch. In UK there is Scoop6 and its structure is sometimes made up of difficult 6 legs of handicap races(across UK meetings). In HK there is triple trio (Bill Benter created algorithm to catch it).

If one is tired of losing P6, bet PA where its easier to catch and reinvest more PAs in tote etc. Imagine waiting for 6 legs (not even nail biting) of the pick 6 and getting a dividend less than R1000. Ridiculous results are everywhere, France, UK, US, Ozz they all bring those bomb results.

I have been a punter for 40 years and have been playing the p6 from its inception when couplings were coupled in all bets. Let me promise you catching the p6 was easier but was never easy. Too many people have romantic memories of days gone past. Racing and punting has never been easy.

Letting couplings count will cut down on the graft for sure.
