I see a horse named Bond running in PE today. I recall a very good sprinter of the same name running in KZN in the early to mid 80s. If memory serves me well it may have been trained by John Fox but I could be wrong, my memory has gone to cheese I cant remember what I had for breakfast most days!

Some to consider...
R Munger in Race 1 (2 Windsock), Race 3 (9 Queen Louise) and Race 8 (9 Lemmon Pepper)
All the best to all Clanners for today...stay safe and healthy...

I see there was a Lillie Langtry that ran like a midden the other day in SA, i know they have spelt Lilly differently but eish... It wasn`t that long she was winning Breeders Cup races and Classics, in fact she`s probably one of the best mares of the last 20 years

A tricky card.
race 1Plenty with chances1,2,3,4,5,10
Race 2 The very smart 3yo Peace In Our World takes on the hard knocker Herodotus. At his best H should win at these weights, and a promising warm-up sprint last time. However, he's not the most reliable these days. Safari Blue next best.
Race 3 The fillies Red Rules and Queen Louise well in getting the sex allowance. Nussply has been priced up favourite and has fair Gauteng form although couldn't win in 20 starts, and similar comments apply to Grace from Above. The lightly raced Linguee could improve. Mhlabeni has been disappointing since showing some promise in CT early on. Steps up in trip which should suit him and he could be a contender.
Race 4 Another open race. Assured, Bhakka and Hukum have current form, but watch out for Kings Fort which is much better back on the grass, and Bush Fever which flopped last time but at best can challenge.
Race 5 Quite open, but I like Van Gogh and Homer Fidget to fight it out.
race 6 no selection
Race7 no selection
Race 8 Our filly, Vic Falls should have won last time- gave the field a few lengths start due to the debacle with the starter letting the field go without one of the runners being loaded and our jockey rightly expecting the false start hooter. Flew at them to only go down half a length. I'm expecting her to win today, and will make her my banker.
Race 9 The short list is Bezos, Mousey on Over and Life on Mars, but an open race again.
