The TAB Place Accumulator and Jackpot pools on the UK evening race meeting at Wolverhampton
on Monday 27 December were declared null and void after a software glitch resulted in
contradictory information being published in TAB sheets which comprised the races to which the
bets applied.
An eighth race was added to the Wolverhampton programme at final declarations, but the extra
race was excluded in the fields extract for the meeting. This resulted in the PA automatically being
assigned to Races 1 to 7 and the Jackpot to 4 to 7, and not Races 2 to 8 and 5 to 8 respectively as
should have been the case.
An amended TAB sheet was distributed, but in light of contradictory information it was decided to
declare both pools null and void. TAB apologises for the inconvenience

Was someone sleeping on the Job?The fact that some bright spark(s) attempted to cover one 4cup by issuing an AMENDED TAB sheet which in itself is a ROYAL 4cup, says a lot about how badly handicapped this lot is.The inability of this lot to effect basic cosmetic changes to the look and feel of the tabonline site (changing the fonts, the font size, widening the columns and rows), all of which is so basic, I’ve seen toddlers effecting such changes on a tablet, without adult assistance. Now we have the Tabgold website reporting one set of dividends that are completely different to 4Q Racing’s Tabonline website. There are serious delusions of grandeur amongst a handful of people - this lot is so piss poor compared to the old Phumelela guard, they must be laughing hysterically.

1. Someone issued an Amended TAB sheet and clearly didn't know that this would have implications - Goes back to my point about the people in positions not understanding anything beyond the basic fundamentals of their roles. If this person had even a basic understanding of punting, they would've known something an average joe punter could tell them, the free TAB sheet needs to be right first time. No do-overs. Issue that comes to my mind here is the person whose job it is to select races for the exotics choosing a 4 horse race for one of the PA legs in the quickmix. Again, you are getting the job done, but do you actually know wtf you are doing?

2. Again a case of, this "Amended" version was allowed to be sent through to and nobody was the wiser about this. It took a post from MissT on here to actually make them aware that, hey, we are on to you, please issue out a statement saying that the pools will be refunded.
Again, if the person actually knew what they were doing, the statement would have gone out immediately together with the dissemination of the "amended" TAB Sheet,

3. Tabonline web odds - This used to be accurate before - Now as you have pointed out - There is a definite lag in the updates of dividends on the Web Odds page. I have made a separate post about this before, and there was no improvement. The Tabonline web odds were always up to date and real time. If I placed a bet on the tote, my bet would reflect immediately in the pools and updated potential dividends. Now it is very lagged. This was one aspect that was working PERFECTLY, and yet, we have had a site redesign and, apart from complicating the once simple interface, the source of information displayed seems to have been changed, and we now have very lagged will pays.
