Seems like we have to buy this decoder to get Gallop TV.
No need to buy an extra dish, uses DSTV dish?

.....so far it would seem that Gallop TV and Ch240 are sharing the free gift box......at least for international feeds.... each has an international channel for today......missing is 240 local racing channel but the live feed channel has local racing from the Vaal.........I would deduce that one could get KZN racing on those race days as I hear Deez on the Gallop TV channel covering Ozz cart racing at the moment.....so relieved that I do not have to f@ck about with dishes LN B's FTA decoders etc to get racing....I have 2 FTA decoders that do not work on the DSTV dish despite being told that they should....

......Ooops smartie box time again.....it would appear that the Ch240 channel I thought was only international is now showing a race from the Vaal....:oops: ...so very confusing....:blink: .

CH 240 has existed for months and is now the home of 4 Racing

......how would I know.....have not had DSTV for 2 years now.....did not need it when getting the free gift box.....and only now see this 240 shyte on my free gift box....:dry:

Hollywood bets have also started phoning to get the decoder installed for free.

Gallop TV pictures on decoder for UK racing is far better than channel 240.
Something not right on channel 240……….

For’s and againsts of satellite GallopTV.
I find the picture quality of the actual live “imported” racing is also very poor, unwatchable, and certainly not HD. (picture1 below). (I say “imported” racing because I still need to test KZN racing). However, the local information portion eg results, dividends, etc, is very crisp and HD - (picture2 below). This suggests that there probably is nothing wrong with my feed connection and settings.
Does anyone else have this similar problem?
