A lot of presenters, commentators, news readers, etc has said things off air unknowingly. Hashim Amla was called a terrorist and recently during the Djokovic saga the news readers in Australia had a whole conversation off air about Djokovic off air which was then leaked.

If they issued an apology then its fine as it was a blurt out and was not full of expletives. It was not a major faux pas.

I wonder what the jockey makes of the remark. Hopefully does not effect his split decision making in the future.

Now we are really comparing the comments from the on course presenter at Greyville racecourse on a Tuesday morning to the comments of a TV presenter about a global superstar number one ranked tennis player. :lol:

Dismiss him, what a deterrent

I don't know Lenferna and although he does carry on a bit at times, is clearly a racing enthusiast, and there are definitely worse than him around. Does he walk on water? No. Neither do we. FFS give the guy a break its not like he knew he was live. In these times dropping the F bomb is not exactly something to lose sleep about.

As for GC taking action - I sincerely hope its for show, give the man a slap on the wrist and lets move forward. There are bigger things to worry about in life.
