Two mares bred by the Ferry Farm Foundation , intended for Maine Chance Farm in South Africa, have been mated to the new Ferry Hofer stallion Alson (Areion) in the past few weeks and have already been examined as pregnant. Four-year-old Feliciana (Lope de Vega), a daughter of Fair Breeze (Silvano), was the winner and had a top rating of 75kg. She will be accompanied to her new home by La Savanna (Fastnet Rock), who is a year younger than her and comes from the successful Lomitas family.
