Good point Neon. It just goes to show how a good pace in the race can make for good times.
Even Crown Towers did not need to do donkey work for his stable.
Instead it was another who was speeding in front with Crown.

In the years gone by there was always the no hopers who went out to the front and ensured a solid gallop with the result that the cream more often rose to the top in the final stages.
