The NHA fine trainers for any indiscretion like a horse being presented with wrong equipment, scratch horses for being incorrectly shod but can’t notice that this horse shouldn’t have raced in a compression mask?? Scratch a horse if the “carded” tongue tie can’t be put on?.

I’m not having a go at trainer, horse or owner as mistakes can and are made but when NHA makes a mistake no one faces consequences . Trainer mistakes of any kind result in fines why not stipes?

Let me open another can of worms about the NEGLECT OF THOROUGHBREDS IN RACING ..
Also the registration of retirement of horses from their racing careers.They have someone getting paid to do this job . When last were there any retirements shown on the weekly registration and ownership. Last 2 were from Natal.
I was shown horses that were found in disgusting condition that belonged to an official in racing but the case was swept under the carpet…

Thanks for having the balls to put this up.
All we hear is alleged this and alleged that and everyone scared to put names to what they post.
Of course things will be swept under the carpet if the wrong doers are not named and shamed,so more of this with proof and names can only be good.

I think we should try and encourage people to enter racing and make it as easy as possible and not get greedy when completing forms.

Example:

I was aware that when we moved Humble to Ziets that Authority to act was R860 which I paid with the form.
I then received urgent call to ask for another R2580 or horse will be scratched.

So it was R3440 for one authority to act form with 4 signatures 😪

.I will still race horses but not in my name Will only punt with Hollywoods and how they going to stop me ..

A trainer once asked me to check why Smith gets lesser fines than other trainers with same wrongdoings.
