NHRA website accuracy query?? Rule 10.5.4 horse movement
2 years 8 months ago
without understanding any nuances to this rule. could someone explain how this rule works?
1. Paul Peter still listed as having at least 44 horses. when does the NHRA website update?
2 Gee for Go not listed even thou she has a rating of 97. When does a horse get removed or added back to their system?
3. Do they remove retired(Breeding vs. other career outside of racing) horses? if so how long after retirement are they removed?
Just curious

Presumably you are looking at the MR list which indicates the trainer of a horse at last run. The MR list is not a live census of horses but a backward looking summary of all horse starts and the latest MR for each horse over the prior 182 days. It's therefore a simple extract by the NRB of all horses to have run over the prior six months, their last trainer, and their current MR. Gee For Go had not run for a year and is therefore not part of the extract you perused.
