Whover thought it was a bright idea to declare the final fields a couple of days before the meeting should get an increase

Rowing in with the fillies early in the meeting. Played a treble :-

R2) Civil Princess, opened 7/1, trading at 7/2. Receives the sex allowance. No real interest in other runners, see if there is follow through, if there is, would be a lively runner.

R3) Bon Vivant, taking on the boys but on ratings is well in here. Coupled with a decent draw, massive runner.

R4) Gobsmacked, won a gutsy last race after being headed close to the finish. Unbeaten in 4 starts over three different courses. If not suffering from the dreaded second run after a rest syndrome, will be the one to beat.

The De Kock yard looks set for a big day. Played the treble, Dutching the last two :-

R5) Desert Miracle, will reverse the places with Moonshiningthrough, 1kg better off this time around. Desert Miracle looked to have hit a flat spot about 200 out last time allowing Moonshiningthrough to come back at her. Peak run, the one to beat.

R6) Shoemaker, hopefully doesn't experience traffic problems like the last time, if not, looks to be shoo-in.

R7) Sparkling Water and Safe Passage, the former i believe was well weighted in the July. Take nothing away, very good horse, whatever beats her wins this race. Safe Passage, is on a worrying drift, ante-post 28/10, now trading at 33/10, hopefully all's well. If all's well, then the bookies are taking him on based on the draw. Two from two over the distance and the biggest threat to the favourite.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bayern I think once again - MOONSHININGTHROUGH - will have the measure of DESERT MIRACLE.... AGAIN !!!.... I just don't think D.M. is a 1160 m horse.

would definitely NOT banker D.M. in P6

Moon.... unbeaten course & distance

Horse racing and picking winners is very subjective, nothing wrong with disagreeing, hopefully one of us comes out on the right side of the result;)
