Re:Betway not so good experience

Anyways decided to check out betway with all the hype around summer cup sponsorships etc.

To say the least very bad experience.
Taken a bet Friday morning 8am for a race ..backed the winner.
It has been a Full 24 hours and some change. The bet still has not been resulted and ticket is still pending.laughing stock.
No inquiries on race or even scratchings
Several phone calls or even messages on Facebook and still no assistance🤣.
A medium 120 rand bet but either way customer service is what counts but I guess for big organisations it does not matter .
We are punters for a long time but seriously taking forever to clear bets. Clearing bets is what the betting business thrives on.getting the customers to come back or even play.now we can't play cos bets not cleared.

A long way to go to compete or get on par with Hollywood or wsb which have no match when it comes to customer service.
Any issues on Hollywood the main man dev sorts out instantly.

Sorry about your bad experience..but I've been using Betway for ages and honestly never had a problem. Getting money in and out is almost instant and when there has been a problem..wich is seldom its always sorted quickly. Maybe just bad day.

This is one way of how you take a bad situation and turn it around in your favour.

I ALWAYS SAY MISTAKES WILL ALWAYS OCCUR IN BUSINESS.

Its how you rectify the situation is just as important.

In my case when i read the initial post i said just as well i dont play with Betway, after this good response , im opening an account.

Betway South Africa has the most followers on Facebook, close to 500k. More than any other betting company.

Its an international brand. I think its under 2 years that they started offering horse racing. The masses in South Africa are not interested in horse racing.

I cannot understand that peeps say WSB is good .... I stopped using them a while ago but tried to deposit so I could have some rugby bets ... well, that deposit did not go so well and their support is really really MIA.

Granted telephone is not an option but days go by before the emails are followed up on....

......never have had any problems with WSB (yet) that have not been sorted out promptly and amicably.....so I stay where my custom is appreciated.....
