Double Grand Slam = 2024 HWB Durban July Winner

This may sound crazy.

But I think I see the plan for this one. Seems alot of value at 50/1. Can someone get an idea of who Richard plans to ride for the July. In one of the interviews he mentioned going down to 53kg for the July...

Quickened up very nicely, reminds me of that Royal horse a few years ago trained by KOM I think (might be wrong)

I see has shortened to 40/1 at HW - won very well indeed - however the 2200m of the July may be a different kettle of fish (was beaten by Rascova last time she went 1600) - although the 1/2 brother Star Coin (by Gold Standard) won over the Turffontein 2000 - still think there are better 40/1 shots being offered at the moment

Would be nice to see Gary Player win a July Handicap

MDK taking Marauding Horde via the Derby on Saturday must be sure of going very close. If he is willing to get a 20 point penalty if he gets close to Purple Pitcher.

July winner could be a filly. Another Russian

I think Billy Bowlegs could be interesting - Pacaya and Mucho Dinero (not sure what the plans are) - but many will be under suffererance should See It Again runs - will be interesting to see Marauding Horde on Saturday - but I think he is over-rated (not by the Handicapper though) - lots of unknowns at this stage
