A bit FLAT after National is over πŸ˜‰

Good morning and what a superb three days from Aintree.

I Am Maximus won the National for JP McManus and I would have hated to be his bookie these last few days.
It was yet another success from the WIllie Mullins and Paul Townend combination.

The results were again favourable for the punters after BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD (certainly does have) Found a Fifty and Delta Work R6.80 a place arrived.

As far as my exotics R48 PA and R24 jackpot, I played R100 on each and found myself into the last leg with 8 PAs and 4 jackpots on my selection in the bumper, travelled well until received a bad β€œbump” and the jock almost fell off .

Did you see Pride of Jenny winning the Queen Elizabeth in Australia by a steeplechase margin yesterday? The link is on the site.

It’s bread and butter racing from Scottsville today where Richard should be in the winners box again.

We also have some decent local racing up North on the 27th before we hit the KZN season and my mind keeps thinking of the July, at this stage Gimme A Nother, Green With Envy and Double Grand Slam come to mind ?

Not sure how O’Brien and Moore combination can compete with his Irish counterparts Mullins and Townend.

The 2000 gns is on the second of May where Aiden has the hot fav City of Troy 8/10 but I was impressed by Notable Speech 16/1 last run.
Note that Roscallion is second fav but check the spelling.

So yesterday belonged to I AM MAXIMUS and deserves a round of applause πŸ‘Β

Good Punting

It's pretty embarrassing for the UK jump trainers and breeders these days

Imagine if all the grade 1 races were won by KZN raiders in SA, think how butt hurt Snaith and MDK would be, then multiply by the fact they are all bred in Ireland as well
