I think the 3 year old colts will have an issue to win the July for years to come. I think only Legislate and Kommetdieding have won it in the last 10 years as 3 year Olds- I could be wrong.

The reason is they are rated too highly and then come into this conditions handicap giving weight and level weights with decent 4 and 5 year Olds.

Green with Envy and Flagman question in point.

Interesting few days ahead - depnding on the results today, some of those hoping to qualify might do so - courtesy of Main Defender and Royal Aussie scratched - will be interesting today; Double Superlative should win easily - but his prep might have been rushed); Aragosta one of those who will boost his chances of making the July field (as I don't think that WIthout Question wants to win today); Saartjie is interesting in that I'm not sure if a horse that was scratched from the July has another chance to be entered again with the FInal Supplementaries on Tuesday - if she wins today, the connections might have to re-think ?

Weird one.. Why Smanga was on PP that prep run and Kabelo on Pomodoro's Jet. KM has always accompanied PP in his last eight starts prior.. if he gets in the July at 53kgs with Kabelo, still in my black book
