.....closest to the pin....but no cigar......very pissed that I did not catch a piece of the trifecta as in my  play of 6 horses selected had the 1st 5 home and boxing them should have been my play I instead floated  GWE with the winner and also no 1....just knew way in advance that GWE would have traffic problems and a hard luck story....but did not think the jock would cock it up so very badly.....

 

See It Again was baulked in the last 50m, otherwise he runs 3rd.

Grant van Niekerk, on Hluhluwe, was blamed for taking out Baberesco in the DN, but Rachel did exactly the same yesterday when she took out Master Redoubte. Perhaps the horse has a problem and not the jockey/jockette. I'm mentioning it because nearly every analyst said he cleaned out Gavin.

And yes, I'm a GVN fan. Finished like a steam train on Future Pearl.
Less said about the jock/ride on GWE and Gimmie, the better. It's torture.
