Is no racing on Mondays impacting SA racing turnover?

This is a serious question.

By allowing the punters a day off each week, are the operators not allowing their clients to find other ways to spend their money?
Would a better solution be to race 7 days a week and create incentives for owners to race on Mondays?
Just closing the day down seems to be an own goal by he operators.

Just curious??

NO imo, in fact i'd go 4 days a week...

Friday nights in KZN are probably the biggest loss to racing imo

.....of late local racing is stretched far too thin, resulting in less than mediocre fare.....especially those poly events in both PE and Durbs and no local racing  Monday is a much needed relief.....however not being one to not have an almost daily interest had a gr8 racing day this past Monday.....a rare Monday HK meeting and followed some very good French heats....only to donate half the loot on piss poor PE poly the next day.....grateful that the rather thin Cape card got washed out today so I can keep my powder dry and hopefully be able get some late race to race exotics on this Saturday....have some back ups in case more than 2 or more sites start going down....
