Shergar Cup Saturday from Ascot.

It's been great in KZN and the kids concerts were superb but very exhausting 😴 
They had 6 shows, 2 per day for three days and I have now seen them more than I ever did Led Zeppelin 😳 

It's woman's day today as Kamala goes money on to beat Donald 🦻
Probably he should stop bending the ladies ears as it's doing him no favours.

However the ladies want to rule the world but are not prepared to fight other ladies with balls in the Olympics boxing ring 🤣😍

It's the Shergar Cup on Saturday from Ascot and is always great to watch but difficult to find winners on these handicap races.
We have the Cups, Dash, Stayers, Sprint and the Mile.
Expect big exotics.
It will be great to see Rachel try to hold her own against some world class opposition and watch "Billy" the new kid on the block.
Rachel best chances should be Fox Journey ( just watch Samui if the reserve gets a race).
Carrytheone also decent chance.
Billy's best is Jarraaf.
Solomon also include in exotics.

We also have a big race at the Curragh on Saturday where the unbeaten Babouche takes on the impressive Newmarket winner Whistlejacket ridden by Ryan Moore and is my choice. Ryan also has the mount on Inspiral in the Prix Jaques Le Marais on Sunday.

The scoring systemAcross the six races, each jockey will ride in five races. Because of the ten-runner maximum field size per race, each team will either have two or all three of their jockeys riding in one race.The first five home in each race receive points in the following order:

• 1st: 15 points
• 2nd: 10 points
• 3rd: 7 points
• 4th: 5 points
• 5th: 3 points

If one of the declared horses is a non-runner, one of the two reserve horses is brought into the race.If a horse cannot be replaced by a reserve horse, the jockey who is without a ride is awarded four points.

I am looking forward to seeing Rachel on the big stage . Highlight for her will undoubtedly be riding for the great Sir Michael Stoute the man who trained Shergar!

Shergar himself was an absolute machine and unfortunately we'll never know how his genes would have influenced the modern day thoroughbred .

I am amazed Hollywood do not have special markets on the Shergar jockey competition..... I will be putting a small eachway on each of Nanako Fujita rides.... I reckob she a smart rider. Obviously shouting for Rachel Venniker on all her rides.
