FINDING OF A PROHIBITED SUBSTANCE - W H Marwing

The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa confirms a reported Prohibited Substance finding.

The presence of Flumethasone (Class 4) was disclosed upon analysis of a specimen taken from DARING DASH after the running of Race 2, at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 29 June 2024.  The Trainer responsible, Mr W H Marwing, elected to sign an Admission of Guilt and was fined an amount of R18 000.

Furthermore, DARING DASH is accordingly disqualified from the race in terms of Rule 72.3.2.
