My guesses for the handicap races...
Race 5 - 5 Risky Business
Race 6 - 1 Nordic Rebel
Race 7 - 11 Warm Winter Nite
Race 8 - 4 Dancing Dora

I have always wondered (genuine question) .... why do you select in Handicap races only? My experience tells me that 'set weight' races provide 'easier' form study ?
@Frodo...many thanks for question...I had, for a long time, the same thinking as you about SW races being "easier"...over time I've done better in the handicap races so now I avoid SW races...
A few reasons...
- more exposed form in handicaps than SW races that are, in the main, maidens (most have too few runs to assess ability and those with 5+ runs are battling / inconsistent otherwise they would have won already)
- better prices available - more likely to get a 3/1 (6/10 place) favourite ridden by a good jockey in a handicap than in a SW race
- jockeyship gives a slight edge when horses are equalised through handicapping so form jockeys can be picked with more confidence
My simple goal is to pick one place winning bet per day (odds of 5/10 and better - slow and steady and I've built up my funds)) and I do it 80-90% of the days in handicap races...just don't get the odds in SW races as more often 2 short-priced horses are placing and the third horse may be better than 5/10 to place but very hard to find...
I'm an accountant so the numbers must make sense otherwise not worth the outlay for me...no fun in losing so I walk away when goal for the day achieved (sometimes it's one bet for the day and done and on others it may be the second or third)...one is constantly fighting the urge to take another bet if goal for the day is achieved but I've learnt not to give away with the left hand what one has received in the right...
