Captains Lover was scratched at the start? Don't have the detail, but was a non-runner.

Captain's Lover pulled an Irridescence by getting spooked by something in the pre-paddock, which caused her to slip on the tarmac and flip over. She suffered a few superficial cuts, but bruised her tailbone. She was treated with Bute. There were no broken bones. When the analgesic wears off tomorrow we will have a better idea of where we stand with her.

The French race, her finale, was supposed to be a prep for a Grade 1 at Hollywood Park on November 30, but that event may be switched to the Hong Kong Mile in order to give the filly a couple of extra weeks to make it back to her best shape.

You may recall she acted up in the paddock before facing Dancer's Daughter in the Grade 1 last January at Kenilworth, when she cut her left hind leg on some thorns on a rose bush exiting the paddock, then whirled around, causing her saddle to become loosened. In the race itself, her saddle slipped and she went from one side of the course to the other in the run down the stretch.
